NOTICE OF VOTE

The Rural Municipality of Calder No. 241 Municipal Elections 2024 PUBLIC
NOTICE is hereby given that:

(1) A vote will be held for the election of Reeve for the Rural Municipality of Calder No. 241;
(2) A vote will be held for the election of Councillor for Division No. 1 for the Rural Municipality of Calder No. 241;
(3) A vote will be held for the election of Councillor for Division No. 5 for the Rural Municipality of Calder No. 241.

(4) The vote will take place on Wednesday, the 13th day of November 2024, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Wroxton Recreation Centre at 301 1st Avenue South, Wroxton, Sask.

Please BRING 2 PIECES OF INDENTIFICATION, as required by The Election Act, 2015.

(5) I will declare the result of the voting at the Municipal Office on Thursday, the 14th day of November, 2024 at the hour of 9:30 a.m.

Municipal Elections 2024 PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the council has made provision for advance voting for the benefit of qualified voters who have reason to believe that they will be necessarily absent from their places of residence on election day.

Please BRING 2 PIECES OF INDENTIFICATION, as required by The Election Act, 2015.

Advance voting will take place on Thursday, the 7th day of November, 2024, between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Wroxton & District Recreation Centre at 301 1st Avenue South in Wroxton, Sask.

Whereas James Fredrick Williams, nominated for the office of Councillor for Division Three (3),

is the only candidate;
I hereby give notice that no voting for the said office will take place at the advance poll on November 7th, 2024 and the election day of November 13th, 2024, and that the nominated person is elected by acclamation.

The date has been set for November 15th, 2024 at the Wroxton Recreation Centre. Tickets are  available at the RM office                       starting August 15th, 2024 at 
         $ 30.00 per person;     
          Ages 12 and over.

TAX NOTICES HAVE BEEN MAILED

The 2024 Tax notices have been mailed
out as of July 15th, 2024.
If you do not receive them within 10 to 15 days after this date , please call or email the RM office.
Municipal Taxes if paid by August 31, 2024 have a 6% discount. You also get 6 % discount if paid in July.
Sask. Municipal Hail Insurance you also receive a 6% discount if paid in July or August.
