Operator
The Rural Municipality of Calder No. 241
is seeking a Seasonal Mower Operator.
The shop is located within the Hamlet of Wroxton.
The successful candidate would hold a valid driver’s license, have good organizational/communication skills, a willingness to learn, the ability to work independently without supervision and as part of a team, the ability to work safely, and the ability to take direction from the Council and Administrator and the ability to work with Co-workers. Heavy equipment operator experience would be an asset.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, mowing, road maintenance if required, backhoe operation, culvert and sign installation, equipment maintenance and repairs, shop work, rock picking, and any other tasks assigned by the Council.
Class 3 Drivers license is preferred but not required.
The RM offers an attractive benefit package including Extended Health and Dental Coverage, Short/Long-Term Disability, as well as the Municipal Employee Pension Plan.
Wages are negotiable based on experience.
